Destiny Shadowrun
She left her husband at home. The boss had called her in. She quickly dressed in a black leather dress, it came down to mid thigh, with long sleeves, and hugged close to her body. She also had on a pair of black leather gloves, and a black under bust corset. And to top if all off, a pair of black leather four inch boots that came just over the knee.
She walked down the street, shaking her head. Her once purple hair was now a toxic green with black streaks. She also had put on black eyeshadow around her eyes and black lipstick. Not many people recognized her without the purple hair.
Her footsteps fell quiet upon the almost empty streets. She started to wonder why the boss called her in. Normally, she would go see him after the job was done. She was hoping it was something good, but the feeling in the pit of her stomach told her otherwise. She was afraid she was going to walk into a trap.
Upon reaching the house, she gently turned the handle and let herself in. She looked around, trying to keep an eye out for anyone who might be around. She walked up the steps slowly, not making a sound. She headed into his office, and stood there.
The boss looked at her. "Ahh, Star. Glad you could make it. Please, have a seat." He motioned to the empty chair by her.
She looked at the chair and sat down. "What can I do for you?"
"See, I've had this little problem." She heard the door open and close quickly. Two other men were in the room. "I don't know who you really are. I know Star isn't your real name. My problem with not knowing who you are, is I can't track you. I know where all of my employees are at all times." He sighed and lit up a cigar. "You see what I'm getting at? Just give me a name, address. Give me what I need. And I'd prefer to do this the easy way."
She sighed. "It's none of your business. If you really need me, then you'll figure out how to find me." She stood up and placed her gloved hands on the desk. "You've been fine with the arrangement we've had. Don't change it up now."
The boss shook his head, disappointed. "Star, you don't understand. How do I know you're not a spy? You could be going back and telling someone about our plans."
She laughed. "You think I'm a rat?" She laughed harder. "What a silly little man. I have no reason to bother myself with petty things like that. You give me the info, I kill them, you pay me. That's all I'm about."
The men came up behind and tried to grab her. She quickly turned around, grabbed their heads, and smack them together. "Now boys, that's not very nice." She said as they laid there. "Now are you going to drop this?" She looked at the boss.
"Star! What on earth. Just give me what I want!" He stood up, so angry he was shaking. "Just tell me who you are."
"I'll tell you something." She smirked. "I quit. Go find someone else to do your dirty work." With that said, she turned around and walked out. She knew he wouldn't follow her, but he would be sorry with the decision he made.
Once more she found herself at the bar. She sat down and Joe brought her a drink. "Rough night?" He asked softly.
She sighed. "It always is." She smiled, and he walked away to go help someone else. She pulled out her phone and texted Fergun.
~Everything's okay. Sitting at the bar. Love you, miss you.~

Fergun Shadowrun
He'd literally been lounging around the house when his mobile went off checking his messages he smiled as he lay his head on the arm rest of the couch
~ Ok, want me to join you? Still have no voice but can bring a note pad. Love you stay safe and come home soon ~
.
Hitting the send button he stared up at the ceiling it frustrated him that he had lost his voice as punishment for hurting Destiny and almost killing their baby writting out what he wanted to say to her just wasn't the same. It didn't help that he worried about these jobs she took from a man he'd never met but what could he do about it he had to trust that she could look after herself.

She smiled and read his text. She quickly texted him back.
~You can come if you want. I'm just a little annoyed right now though. I don't like people sometimes. Lol. Anyways, I'll be here for a while longer. If you do come, try to wear some type of disguise, kay?~
She set her phone down and Joe walked over. "I knew it! You do have someone."
Destiny laughed. "Yes, I'm married. And only to protect you, I won't give any details." She was afraid of them coming after him, trying to find out who she was.
Joe nodded. "Understood, and I appreciate the precaution." He smiled. "How come you're not drinking?"
"Because I'm pregnant. Can I just get a glass of wine?" She knew it was okay to have wine every once in a while.
"Oh my! That's great news. Here, here." Joe ran and grabbed her a glass of her favorite wine and set it infront of her. "It's on the house Star. And congrats." He smiled before wakling away.
"Thanks Joe." She smiled and sipped her wine.

Reading her next message he all but jumped off the couch he needed a disguise but how the heck could you disguise a man with no magical capabilities , huffing he got dressed into a neat suit that he hardly wore so that for one would be something no one would suspect him to be in, grabbing his wallet, the note pad and keys he walked out onto the porch frowning he wanted to ask Amaya if she could help but with no voice that would be difficult she was still mad at him aswell.
Climbing into their truck he headed off down the forest road trying to concentrate on where he was going since his capability to ensure the trees remained still was also taken from him. He dearly wanted to prove to everyone he could be trusted not merely to regain his voice so he could actually tell his wife how he felt but to show them he'd learnt and gotten better.

She sat there, bored out of her mind. She looked around the bar, all of the usuals were there. She sipped her wine once more and picked up her phone. She texted Fergun.
~So, you coming or not? I'm sure I could change your hair color, just think of what color you want it, and it'll change. And if you want a beard or something, just think of that too.~

Stopping his truck when he felt the vibration of his phone
~ I'm on my way just driveing slow so I don't get lost, can you do a cute goutee and black hair medium length? ~
it was all he could think of at the spur of the moment he'd always wondered what he'd look like with one.

She laughed a little as she looked at her phone. But with a quick whisper, he got what he wanted. She set her elbow on the bar, and rested her head upon her head. She wondered if he would say anything about her drinking.

Looking into the rear view mirror he grinned at the new adition to his face, starting up the truck he drove out of the forest and into town heading straight to the bar she'd mentioned before climbing out he looked around to see how buy it was he was hopeing to spend some time with his wife alone even if he couldn't talk to her correctly.
Carrying his note pad with him into the establishment he looked around for Destiny, a smile came to his lips when he spotted her with her head in her hand on the bar, takeing out his pen he wrote on the pad before he got to her.
~ Excuse me Miss , but I've lost something really close to me and I'm wondering if you could help me find it ~
Tearing the page off he folded it into a really bad heart shape before moveing to the end of the counter, she seemed to really be lost in her thoughts, smileing at Joe when he came up he scribbled on the note pad what he wanted to drink and asked if he could hand the heart to the lovely lady with the green hair.

Joe smiled and nodded some. He got the new guy a drink, before handing Star the heart. He just simply walked away.
Destiny looked at the heart and opened it up. She read the message and smiled, before looking around. It took her a moment to recognize Fergun, but she quickly waved him over, she was too lazy to get up.

Smileing broadly he picked up his note book and made his way over to her placeing them down next to her he looked at her sheepishly quickly writting on the pad
~ So what you think should I keep it? ~
noticeing the wine he gathered she'd had a hard night, he wished he could whisper into her ear how good she looked.

She read what the pad had said. "If you want. You know you look good to me no matter what." She smiled softly, taking another sip from her wine. "Can I please have a hug?" She asked it softly, her eyes showing a bit of worry in them.

Stepping into her while she sat on the chair he wrapped his arms around her softly holding himself close to her he hugged her, he was still very cautious about touching her since his confession he knew he shouldn't be but he was still non the less, relaxing with her in his arms he sighed before pulling away pressing his forehead against hers trying to get his thought of what he wanted to say to flow into her mind.He wanted to kiss her he hadn't since the day he'd last spoken forgetting about the crowded bar he pressed his lips to hers softly tenderly kissing her lips , she was still his love it pained him seeing her worry in her eyes.

She leaned into his hug, feeling better some. But she wasn't ready for him to kiss her. At first, she kissed back a little before pulling away. "I'm sorry." She whispered it softly. "I mean, it's still a little weird for me to say I love you. Granted, I do. But with what happened, it's just odd. I'm sorry. I'm trying." Her icy blue eyes met his green ones, hoping he would understand and hopefully not walk away from her.

Shakeing his head his indication that she shouldn't say sorry he knew it was diffucult he was just pleased she hadn't decked him for trying. Shrugging his shoulders at the fact she didn't or hadn't said she loved him in a while hurt but it was his own fault he knew she did still care for him and loved him he just had to do alot more to prove to her he was still worthy of all of that from her.
Sighing he sat down next to her hopeing she didn't mind his leg falling against hers takeing a drink he pulled the note pad closer
~ You're drinking , did you have a bad night at the office? ~
he knew she wouldn't drink to much because of the baby.

After reading the paper she nodded some. "I quit." She said simply. "He wanted to know everything about me. I told him no. He tried leading me in a trap. Two guys tried grabbing me and I smacked their heads together. And then I laughed in the boss's face and told him I quit." She sighed. "Well, I'm just afraid that he's going to try to come after me. Granted, I can take him. But I just don't want the trouble."
