She smiled. Such politeness and manners from one so young was not expected, although she should not be surprised. Someone had taught him well and her smile became wider in response to the simple yet courteous gesture. Her soft, bell-like voice responded with almost child-like exuberance. “Edward is very sweet, and yes everyone has been very helpful! I am sure he is very glad that you decided to join us. “ With a soft giggle she added “Hey - it’s supposed to snow in Paris tomorrow and it is rare where I’m from. Do you know how to build a snowman?” |

She regarded the young man curiously, and slowly extended her hand. "My name is Parisa. Edward has spoken much of you and holds you in such high regard. I am glad that I am able to finally meet you."
She let out a small smile, laughing at her self. She expected him to be..... taller. |

She laughed and headed for the kitchen, knowing that there was always plenty of random goodies hiding in the cabinets. She grabbed a bowl and several packages of skittles, opened them and dumped them in a bowl. She grabbed a spoon, shoved it into the bowl of skittles and went back to Julian's office.
She tapped on the door again before opening it, a smirk on her lips as she entered and sat the bowl down on the edge of the desk.

The last few weeks had been restless; nights filled with silence, darkness and the echo of stiletto heels in empty corridors. No signs of life, or undeath, seemed to be present until this night during her rounds.
A light.
Julian was home, she smiled to herself as she rounded the corner near his office and quietly stepped up to the door. She tapped her knuckles lightly on the frame, not intending to disturb him if he was busy, but merely wishing to check in before she left on the hunt. She did not wait for the door to open, instead she spoke loudly enough for her voice to carry through the door.
