"If falling in love is anything like learning how to spell, I don't want to do it. It takes too long."
"I think you're supposed to get shot with an arrow or something, but the rest of it isn't supposed to be so painful."
"You should never kiss a girl unless you have enough bucks to buy her a big ring and her own VCR, 'cause she'll want to have videos of the wedding."
"It isn't always how you look. Look at me. I'm handsome like anything, and I haven't got anybody to marry me yet."
"I'm not an oxymoron!"
"If I was a raccoon I would eat the farmer's corpse."
Julian Montgomery's Biography
~Life has changed for Julian. The Children Of The Candy Korn are gone, and the little boy is all alone. Uncle Henry, who tried to teach him to whistle, was gone as well. But Taika...her loss was the biggest one of all.~
~She was his first love. All he can think about is her smile, and her laugh, and how she shared all of her candy with him. He remembered the first time she held his hand, and how his insides got all quivery inside. His cheeks blushed until they were as hot as the monkey bars at the playground when she kissed him on the cheek. He loved her...and now she was gone. All he had left were his memories, and the gold locket he wore around his neck, with a picture of them after eating a LOT of ice cream.~
~Julian has finally found a new home. Hopefully, he will learn much as he moves through its halls.~
She laughed a little at how excited he got over the Nerds, peeling back the wrapper of the Hershey bar and eating a square. Man.. I wish I got that excited about anything. "Maybe you should give some to "Big Mack".. that might ease her wrath a bit, if you know what I mean." She winked at the kid, still chuckling.
She blinks down at the little boy, golden eyes appraising the chocolate morsel that he proffered to her. Ooh.. Tev plucked the candy bar from his little fingers and gave him a cheshire grin, one canine pressing at her bottom lip. "Thanks, kid.. and don't worry about the whole name. Nobody can say that beast anyhow. Tev is fine. Also.." She trailed off and reached into a pocket, pulling out a pink and purple box of Wonka's Nerds, holding it out to him. "I heard you were looking for some of these."
It had been a long time since she actually had any fun in the Realm. Many things had happened to her but today she felt like trying to lighten things up so she went in search of the little boy that pulled on her leg the other day. Upon finding him she smiled and stepped slowly as not to scare him. "Hello little one. I was wondering if I could hire your services for a little mischief today."
As he skipped off she couldn't help the slight chuckle that escaped her lips. Shaking her head and slipping into the cold mask that usually graced her face, she went on her own way.
Taking in the sights of the Realm she looked down as she felt a slight tug. The boy was cute and his words amused her but also worried her. "No, I'm not. I can't have kids but if I could I would hope they would be as cute as you. Do you not know your mother?"
-Awake, he must awake. Too much time has passed, too much at stake. Arise, he must arise. Must wonder about, must gather supplies. With a purr and nudge, such a deep sleep, he won't even budge. Le meow, Le purr. Patted away no warmth from the fur. Awake, young Julian. You must, the sun lifts, we can not stay here in the rubble and dust-
-Swish of the tail in a calming sway, poor child, it has been a long day. Rest I will with the boy, he has seen too much, there is no joy. No, smiles, no laughter, only pain...Oh! It is going to rain. Not the rain you so think, just wait you will feel it after. Burn it will to the very core, hearing the screams, I will want more. Anguish and despair, smite them all, the Gods will not care. An eye for an eye tis only fair. Rest I will with the boy, the blood of the judges will bring us joy.-
-I search, I spy, I look...Watch out for that car! I almost die. Where is that home, and it's little mistress witch? Oh! Curses my hip, another stitch. Too old for this, too many years, too many, centenaries in fact my dears. Look high, peek low, where did they all go? Ruins of the building which once stood tall, when did this happen, when did they all fall? Did they not pay the rent? Did they move? Was it child services? Oh! Music from a distance, let us grove. Not music but humming and weeping...Oh my! Tis young Julian sleeping. He cries a sad lullaby in the streets alone. Where's is that home, and it's little mistress witch? I shall curl up next to the boy and comfort him in the ditch. Hush now young child I will speak and purr a soft song for your mind. This wicked feline will be kind.-
*Sadness could be felt from the little boy. Bas had brief words with him in the past. Nothing to remember. But this stabbing pain she could feel pulsating from him was enough to move even the Dark Angel's black soul. Without a word, Bastet passed by the little boy and gently tousled his hair. A slight smile and nod of the head. Even she couldn't give this boy a hard time when it seems his world came crashing down*
