Beau Theroux

Beau Theroux 10/14/19 The tall man's stature straightens at the woman's approach. Much like a curious pup he glanced over his shoulder at the source of the noise and, immediately, a bright smile spread across his visage. "Lila!"

Long legs closed the distance between the two and he chuckled. ""Nah, no charms. Just pralines and beignets with some good ole Lycan's Den moonshine. The charms are only for special customers."
Beau Theroux 09/28/19 For a moment the man hesitates when the woman makes the bomb noise. A bright eyed look of wonder overcomes his expression and he copies her gesture of an explosion. He liked this one. He liked her a lot. When the 'friend' speaks Beau's eyes immediately look towards the source, then back.

"Don't worry, for it to do any real damage I gotta focus on it." Meeting somebody who conversed with the other side was a rare occurrence for the lycan. Even within his mother's coven none seemed to communicate on the level Beau had branding him as a natural conduit for energies of a spiritual nature. As other's abilities seemed to plateau, his continued to climb. "Etsy? Nah, these are for hedge witch use only! If held in the wrong hands some pretty crazy stuff could happen! At least, that is what my maw told me."
Beau Theroux 09/28/19 Seeing her fist rise up to match his own a rumble of laughter danced from the man's lips. Lightly he tapped his own fist against hers. "A pleasure to meet ya, Lila."

Glancing at the assorted items that adorned his fist he ran the fingers of his free hand over them. "Ah, these. It may sound crazy, but I am able to make charms and whatnot for purification or protection. The beasties don't like this one in specific," he tapped his index finger against the larger charm that sat right at his knuckle. "Makes their head explode. It's pretty cool."
Beau Theroux 09/28/19 Evergreen eyes glanced in the direction of what Beau could only assume to be a clinger, as he called it, next to the woman. Suppressing his own abilities helped filter out all the noise; all the commotion from beyond the veil. The being was not fully defined but it was obvious something was there. Slowly, his gaze returned to the woman, a jubilant smile across his bearded visage. "I see plenty whether I want to or not. These beasties I been seein' are far from the norm, however. They don't seem to like my fist much, though."

Raising a fist a selection of beading and charms were wrapped between his fingers in an interlocking web across his hand. "Name's Beau, by the way."

"You ain't about to melt off your skin an' turn all shadowy are ya?"
Virelai Tylwyth 09/25/19 Normally, Yule would send a letter to the new arrivals who found their way into her little black book. A few words, a gift, and leave it at that. But lately, she was of the mind that perhaps a more hands on approach wouldn't be so bad. At the very least, it would be amusing for her for no other reason that the look on the face of the person she approached. Strange things happened all the time in the Realm, under the cover of shadow, just out of sight of the ignorant humans who had the greatest claim to it.

And Yule, well, she just happened to be one of those beings who thrived in the shadows and strangeness that warped this world. She'd spent plenty of time as a spirit and the distance created from that had remained even after she had gotten this body. But slowly, ever so slowly, that divide was closing and she had grown accustomed to things.

So, she had taken out the leather-bound book and was systematically going down the list of names, making her way from one to the next. Luckily, the power she held sway over made this task easier than it might otherwise be. And she approached each of them, her steps light, the mask covering her gleaming eyes a little odd, but what wasn't these days?

Maybe she would seem like a con-artist, or something stranger to their eyes, something that shouldn't be trusted. But that made it all the more fun. So she approached them, one at a time, and pressed a small envelope into their hand, casual as could be. Some of them might react in an equally odd way, others might walk away confused or dazed. But that didn't matter. It was all for her self satisfaction.

Yule smiled, lips quirking up at the corners eerily, eyes gleaming with mirth and mischief as she said. ďI'll be back for this.Ē Then she sauntered on by, looking for the next person on her list, wondering what they would do or say at such a strange interaction. Perhaps they would call out, stop her from melting back into the crowd. Or maybe, just maybe, they would meet again someday in the cemetery or a dark alleyway. But nothing could bring her more joy than the little burst of chaos it created.
